PlayThinks programming focuses on self-regulation and executive functioning to improve quality of life. Students learn to engage in conversations and decrease their disruptive outbursts. Our counselors, teachers, and therapists, whom we partner with, work with students and their families using innovative therapeutic techniques and technologies to present a unique “team approach” in helping each student reach their full potential. About PlayThinks
PlayThinks is an innovative sensory learning center designed to support learners of all ages and abilities as they make meaning and construct knowledge through exploration and interaction with real tools, intriguing phenomena, materials, and spaces.
The success of Play Thinks is measured by students’ individual progress toward achieving personal goals as established in each of their IEPs. The students’ goals consist of social-emotional development, behavioral self-control, and academic areas all aligned with their cultural needs.
