What sets us apart is our integration of Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, creating a more mindful and self-directed learning experience. Covered by insurance up to 100%, our program is grounded in Torah values and mesorah.

Join us for a dynamic summer enrichment experience designed to support children ages 5 and up in their developmental journey. At PlayThinks Summer Camp, our holistic approach to growth combines evidence-based interventions with a myriad of fun-filled activities. From room-sized sandbox adventures lovingly dubbed "the beach" to bouncing excitement in our inflatable bouncy house, every moment is tailored to ignite imaginations and foster growth. Our basketball court, tennis courts, and baseball field provide the perfect backdrop for honing sports skills and building camaraderie. Interacting with our menagerie of animals, children learn empathy and responsibility, while water activities offer refreshing opportunities for summer splashes and laughter. Through engaging games, creative projects, and interactive learning, children strengthen social skills, enhance emotional regulation, and improve sensory integration. Each child is unique, and at PlayThinks, we celebrate their individuality by helping them meet personal milestones. Join us for a summer filled with adventure, growth, and unforgettable memories! All of our activities provide 1:1 support in a group setting.
Learning for all ages
Campers (ages 5-9): These are our “campers” having all the fun!
Counselors in Training (ages 10-13): Our older boys have the opportunity to guide their younger peers in our activities, while they work on goals for social/emotional and behavioral challenges and develop their communication and leadership skills.
Counselors (ages 14-17): Regarded as young adults, these counselors play a pivotal role at PlayThinks Summer Camp. Despite their youth, they exhibit a commendable level of maturity and intellect, bridging the gap between program adults, campers, and counselors in training.
Many of these young adults have navigated their journey with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), offering a unique perspective and empathy born from personal experience. Drawing from their challenges and triumphs, they serve as mentors to the younger group, providing guidance and understanding in a way that only someone who has walked a similar path can offer. For those who haven't encountered similar challenges, the camp program offers a valuable opportunity to gain understanding and compassion for others' needs. These young adult counselors, with their shared experiences of ASD, serve as inspiring role models, fostering a supportive environment where every camper can flourish and learn.
PlayThinks experienced professionals make all the difference
Our team of experienced professionals, including speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, and social workers, collaborate closely to ensure each child's needs are met. In addition to incorporating Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment, our program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to foster holistic development for each level of our participants. All of our activities provide 1:1 support in a group setting.

Our program is tailored toward boys ages 5 to 17 who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our approach to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy wraps learning and growth in a fun and interactive environment. Because our program is therapeutic, it may be covered up to 100% by your Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance. For those who do not have applicable insurance coverage, summer camp scholarships may be available. Contact us for complete details.

Camp PlayThinks runs through the summer beginning on June 17th and ending on August 30th.

Camp Hours: Daily from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm*
*Hours and Programs are customized to fit the ABA Hours available to each participant. Individualized Hours are also available.
